“All in all, we had a great first two segments. I honestly don’t know what happened – so close but so far. That’s been my luck at the superspeedways. Two years ago at Daytona, I thought we were going to win the race and then next thing I knew, I was upside down. That’s how it goes. That’s just Talladega – that’s the nature of the beast here. Everybody pushes and pushes until the Big One. I did what I could do. The first two segments, we finished fourth and second, and in the second one, we put ourselves into position. We did everything we could do – we came here with a fast Menards Ford F-150.”
